Upcoming show and thanks to our listeners

Christmas Songs For Jazz Lovers - Paul Keller EnsembleHello Detroit Jazzstage listeners. Dean and I wanted to give thanks to you for your incredible support. Our show has become far more popular than we would have ever imagined. Because of you, we are the number one jazz podcasts as ranked by Itunes. We are humbled to have a home on your harddrive and promise to continue working hard to keep you listening by presenting the best Jazz in Detroit along with artist’s personal stories/ experiences all wrapped up in the culture that is the Motor City.

We are fast approaching the holiday season here in Detroit. We just wrapped up a live interview with Bassist Paul Keller at the Firefly Club in Ann Arbor. Paul’s group plays there every Wednesday unless he is off touring with the likes of Diana Krall, Russell Malone or Marcus Belgrave. Paul generously spoke to us during his breaks to discuss his CD Christmas Songs for Jazz Lovers. This CD is one of our favorite holiday albums and is perfect for our December 1st podcast. To learn more about Paul or to purchase Christmas Songs for Jazz Lovers, please visit PKOrecords.com

Until then, Dean and I would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season. We hope you enjoy Paul’s swinging and modern arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
